I was truly honored to be in Washington, D.C.,last month for The Hunt Institute’s Early Childhood Leadership Summit. It was an incredible opportunity to learn alongside dedicated education leaders and policymakers from every corner of the USA, all focused on one critical goal: building stronger early childhood systems for our nation’s children.
The research is clear: early childhood success is a foundational issue for our state’s long-term prosperity, strong communities, and economic health. We must focus on the efficiency and sustainability of our new early childhood structure, addressing workforce shortages, and ensuring our investments truly reach the families who need them most.
