Conservative Values: Defending Colorado’s Principles
As your State Senate representative for Colorado District 13, I am committed to protecting the values that make Colorado strong—personal freedom, limited government, and individual responsibility. Now that I have taken office, I will work to turn these principles into action and fight for policies that reflect the beliefs of the hardworking people of our district.
Defending the Second Amendment
The right to bear arms is a fundamental liberty, and I will defend it against unconstitutional restrictions. The Democrat-passed gun control laws that limit magazine sizes and impose restrictions without due process are an infringement on law-abiding citizens. In the State Senate, I will work to repeal these laws and protect your right to self-defense. Colorado should be a place where responsible gun owners are not punished for exercising their constitutional rights.
Protecting Freedom of Speech and Thought
Freedom of speech and religion are core American principles, and I will fight to ensure the government does not engage in viewpoint discrimination, particularly against religious beliefs. Additionally, I will take legislative action to end divisive DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) policies that discriminate against students based on race or ideology. Universities should be places of learning, not political indoctrination. I will introduce and support measures to restore equal treatment based on merit and ensure fairness in education and the workplace.
Protecting Life
I am pro-life because I believe life is a sacred gift. The 2022 law allowing abortion up until birth for any reason is extreme, and I will fight to introduce common-sense limitations on late-term abortions. At the same time, I will work to ensure taxpayer dollars are not used to fund abortions and instead advocate for resources that support women and families, including adoption services. Any policies restricting abortion must include exceptions for cases of rape, incest, and when the mother’s life is at risk. I am committed to finding solutions that protect the unborn while also supporting women in difficult circumstances.
Putting Conservative Values into Action
The people of Colorado District 13 have put their trust in me to fight for these conservative values, and I am committed to delivering on that promise. As your State Senate representative, I will:
- Fight for Second Amendment protections and repeal unconstitutional gun restrictions. ● Defend freedom of speech and religion from government interference. ● Introduce legislation to end discriminatory DEI policies in universities. ● Advocate for pro-life policies while ensuring support for women and families. ● Push for limited government and personal responsibility in all policies.
