On April 12th, I had the honor of connecting directly with many of you during our Legislative Town Hall at Aunt Helen’s Coffee House in Greeley. As your State Senate representative for Colorado District 13, I’m deeply committed to listening, learning, and acting on the issues that matter most to hardworking, taxpaying families in our community.
The turnout was incredible, and I’m grateful to everyone who made time to join us—including my colleague, Representative Ryan Gonzalez. Together, we had meaningful conversations about the challenges you’re facing and the solutions we’re working to deliver at the Capitol.

Championing Personal Freedoms and Limiting Government Overreach
A key theme at our Town Hall was the need to protect individual liberties and rein in excessive government control. Many of you shared concerns about the growing role of government in areas like business, healthcare, and education—and I couldn’t agree more.
As your State Senator for Colorado District 13, I believe government should serve the people—not restrict their choices. Whether it’s pushing back on harmful mandates, fighting to preserve freedom of speech and religion, or defending the right to bear arms, I’m working to ensure that our freedoms are protected and our communities are empowered to make their own decisions.
Your voices at the Town Hall made it clear: Coloradans want less bureaucracy and more common sense. I’ll continue championing policies that promote personal responsibility, economic liberty, and accountable governance.
Your Voice Is Driving Our Work
From affordability and education to criminal justice and state spending, you brought forward important insights, ideas, and questions. These conversations help guide my work on the Finance, Education, and Health & Human Services Committees, where I advocate for policies that make life better for families across Greeley and Colorado Senate District 13.

Let’s Keep the Momentum Going
Whether I’m working at the Capitol or meeting with you in the community, I remain committed to delivering real solutions with transparency, accountability, and your best interests at heart. Together, we can continue building a Colorado where families are safer, the economy is stronger, and opportunity is within reach for all.
Thank you again for the opportunity to serve.
